Frequently Asked Questions

What is the structure of each session?

Each session offers a nurturing blend of meditative, rhythmic, and playful movement, thoughtfully adapted for your prenatal or postnatal journey. You'll be guided through:

Breath work and slow, flowing movement
Gentle, core-strengthening warm-ups
Playful, feel-good grooves
Mindful movement to cool down

With small group sizes, I tailor the flow to support the evolving needs of each group across the 8-week experience.

We close each session with a calming cup of tea & time to connect and unwind together.

I'm unsure if I should start gentle movement now

Gentle, mindful movement during pregnancy is not only soothing but also beneficial for both physical and mental wellbeing. It can help ease stress, lift your mood, and support a stronger connection to your changing body.

For those who are pregnant, this type of movement may help reduce backache, improve overall fitness, and support a healthier pregnancy and birth.

For those who are postpartum, it can assist in rebuilding muscle strength and supporting emotional wellbeing.

Whether you're expecting or recently postpartum, you're welcome to begin when it feels right for you. Sessions are designed to be adaptable and supportive throughout each stage.

Is the studio space baby friendly?

Our studio is a welcoming, family-friendly space with a private nursing area, bottle-feeding friendly setup, change table, mat, and wipes available.

Whether you're feeding or changing, we aim to make things as comfortable and convenient as possible for you and your little one.

What if my baby is not co-operative?

Babies are spontaneous, unpredictable, and each on their own unique developmental journey. We celebrate that!

I’ll offer gentle suggestions and the session will follow a familiar rhythm, but you’re always free to step away and rejoin whenever it suits you and your baby. Sometimes, your baby might discover their own way to experience what’s happening! That’s awesome.

There’s no disruptions, just spontaneous experiences unfolding. It’s all a part of the joy of growing, moving and connecting together in the moment.
