Moving with Chi (氣)
In a demanding world, Moving with Chi offers a quiet and supportive space to slow down with Chinese meditative movement, breathe deeply and return to yourself.
These sessions invite you to move with awareness, kindness and curiosity, cultivating presence, strength and inner calm.

Who it’s for
Moving with Chi is suitable for adults of all ages and experience levels.
No prior movement or dance background is required. Simply come as you are.
A gentle exploration of traditional Chi/Qi Gong forms
Chi/Qi Gong is the ancient Taoist practice of cultivating health and wellbeing. Chi/Qi (氣) refers to vital energy in our bodies. Gong (功) means ‘to work or practice’.
Across 8 weeks, we will explore one complete set of movements, such as Eight Brocades 八段錦, Lotus Qi Gong 蓮花養氣功, Twelve Brocades 十二段錦.
Each week, enjoy a grounding ritual that deepens the connection between your body and mind.
Class details
Two weekly classes will run. Please elect the time you can be attend consistently.
Term: week of 2 February – week of 23 March 2026 (8 weeks)

Class 1: Monday evenings, 7:30–8:30pm (Full)
Class 2: Thursday evenings, 7:30-8:30pm
